Jesus. After a horrendous last night, I didnt wanna even get out of bed today. After hearing about this, kinda wish I didn’t even wake up.
This sucks, majorly. AM was the first, possibly only, rockstar DJ. He created the ’anything goes, cross genre mash up’ sets. He was a talented turntabilist, commanding reportedly up to $35, 000 a gig. And he did it all whilst boning hot hollywood celeberities. What a hero.
Without AM, we may never have had the balls to try cross-genre mash-ups like Disco Disco. Without AM, a skinny, white, jewish DJ like myself might never have dreams of rocking vegas clubs and doing cocaine lines of a hollywood actress’s big fake tits, then riding off in a ferrari. And without that dream, there is nothing.
So here’s to AM; We here award you the title of The Real Rock N Rolla.
