Despite an it’s coolness, Estelle’s Guetta-produced Freak didn’t really take off.
Which leaves us with this – Estelle and Will.I.Am’s American Boy pt 2. As a fan of the original, I’m not even mad at this. Estelle’s tone really suits this steez, and Nas feels very much at home here, despite the fact that I’ve never heard escobar over anything this smooth.
There’s also a version with nas replcaed by John Legend that should help take it to a Adult Contemporary radio.
